The money that can be made as a web analysts is based on the type of analyst you become and the network you can work in. Generally speaking a low level analyst make between 45 to 60 depending on the company you work for and their size. The task you perform, if you are in a leadership position and how much experience you have have allot to do with your pay. There are 4 avenues you can take:
Technical individual contributor
Business individual contributor
Technical team leader
Business team leader
When considering a career in web analysts you should figure out your strengths/weaknesses and what you are need to do obtain the knowledge and skills required for the job. If you are very technical, love coding and would rather be left alone the best routes would be technical routes. If you are a sales person, business savvy and know how to leverage others ability to perform coding then the business side is the more lucrative and suitable route for you. Either or you should have a decent knowledge of analyzing reports and understanding how to use multiple web analyst programs.
Technical individual contributors make between $40,000 to $100,000 a year.
Technical team leaders make between $50,000 to $100,000 a year.
Business individual contributor makes between $70,000 to $120,000 a year.
Business team leader makes between $90,000 to $170,000 a year.

Pay based on location
If you are looking into the industry you may want to do research about the locations that pay the most for the trade and understand that different location have different demand for the skills that you wish to use. There may be very little demand in certain areas and you may need to relocate or travel for the opportunity depending on your current location unless you can find a position that allows you to work offsite.
